In general most people really don't know what is going on in the corporate world behind the scenes (tax code) and some still have much doubt as to just how they serve society. They don't at all and in fact...society serves the corporation. Corporations are endowed (Lincoln used a much more accurate word 'enthroned') with specials rights and benefits from govt.
By its very existence the corporation creates a corporate class with those special rights NOT endowed by the independent businessman and certainly not...labor.
One argues falsely against because here is a prime example of what is termed plutocracy. That is defined in my view very accurately, as govt. essentially of money, by money and for money. Similar to Rome that helped precipitate its fall.
What OWS demonstrated against is not just this but the culture that creates it. Read it and gain a much fuller understanding of the real American values as reflected by our tax code and its Orwellian necessities.
In the case of Occupy wall street, none of the usual signifiers by which we are conditioned to hate each other...seem to be working. Is it true ? Do 59% overall and 56% of white working people favor the demonstrators.
Where have you gone...America's usual prejudice, when we need you most ?

Reverse Morris Trust
Just where would we be without our oh so vital 'Reverse Morrise Trust ?' I mean talk about the great savior of western civilization, I just don't know if we'd be here today kinkroids with over 300 million 'rich' Americans (less than 1/2 of them working) if it weren't for the ever-ready and important presence of 'law' as something called the 'Reverse Morris Trust.'
Now nevermind that a corporation doesn't exist as something you can actually hear or smell but...only on paper. That paper is necessary and Shakespeare had a point about lawyers but they and our very special paper...are necessary...they are the game changers, the game of profits and taxes, so we can't kill them all. We need those shifty SOB's. It is they who create something called a 'Reverse Morris Trust' whatever that is. Sure does come in handy though.
Now if you believe that, then you truly do most devoutly worship at the alter of profits and more than that, you are superior capitalist clergy when not just profiting but profiting...tax free. I mean God himself (herself/itself) could not have bestowed such a blessing upon such sincere fidelity in greed than as found in the busy minds of the disciples of our great corporate class. I won't go into the technical jargon as of course, it is essentially irrelevant.
Briefly, P $ G (Proctor and Gamble) purchases, does very little otherwise, (except likely lay-off thousands of the underclass) then sells these stock companies built around usually a single very popular consumer product, makes $6 billion, yes you corporate slackers...$6 BILLION (in just 3 transactions in 4-6 years) in profits and through the paper shifting 'law' purchased from our corrupt, plutocratic govt. leaves this profit...TAX FREE.
The only thing more beautiful than the 'free market' [sic] is a tax free market. My kind of redistribution of wealth...to me. You all had to pay the $2 billion taxes...I didn't. (or borrow it)
As Louis told us...'What a wonderful world it is.' Happy now...rich yet ?
