Thats one of the proposals of the payroll tax bill... stopping millionaires from collecting food stamps or unemployment.

As of now, yes, if they lose their jobs, in some states, they are eligible.

Not enough here. People with these huge houses do rent them out sometimes, even each room. They might charge a grand a month each but if that is the market then it is. The homeowner might be making a shitload of money but the person getting the grand a month subsidy for rent is not necessarily cheating, it really may be the cheapest place around.

And if there is a disability payment involved (I thought I heard that) then someone paid in. You DO NOT get a grand a month on SSI. Anywhere. But in an area with a high per capita earning, the benefits might be that high. In California my fucked up shack would rent for a grand a month, probably more.

Get the rest of the facts.
