Yes I know. Not every one is bad of course. I just gave an example.
But there are enough profiles that have for 5 years "new girl needs guiding" and they are online daily.
If you see that as a moderator/admin...you can ask about it and advise.
An admin doesn't kick people with out warning ofcourse...but watches and takes action when appropriate.

I know what you're saying, but just as a for instance, I think the only thing I've done on my profile (as opposed to the journal) in the past two yrs was update my age (only because I was reminded of it).

CoreFocus -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 3:02:31 AM)

Lol then you are safe.
I know...bad example.
Personally I just think that active administration(?) will be better in general then invent all kind of extra things.
It is better to take away the root problem then its effect.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 3:08:59 AM)

Maybe collarme should invent a sidearm called collarmetsy, where all the pros and financial types who post for free advertising can hang out.

I mean what next? Maybe a Collarme delivery service where a taxi cab plonks said person on your doorstep?

Now, that is worth a second thought!

Agreed. Stella I think you've struck gold. On the other hand, a verification system not so much, especially for those who get to advertize their business for free.

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 3:36:02 AM)

I voted other. I do think the profile side needs a dedicated mod to clean things up over there. How many profiles exist wherein the person has not logged into his CM account for five years, or more?

Maybe they could be tossed into an inactive bin, where they would not come up on searches.

Then there are those with 50 nicks. WTF is up with that? I've no idea how you keep up with that, it's crazy. I think the people with over 10 nicks should be sent admin mail saying you are abusing our system. You can't be stealthy enough with 10 nicks?

Then of course, the pros. There should be a place to report the pros so they can be separated out from the regular active profiles. I've nothing against pros, but there are so many these days, they are cluttering up the place.

Now, am I volunteering to do all that work? Hell no !! Going through a membership list of 5 million is a major job. But once that job was done, it would not be that hard to maintain, if you kept up with it.

Would it be a perfect system if these basic changes were made? No. But I believe it would be much improved, most especially for those on the profile side who do regular searches and find most of the profiles are inactive or pros.

YMMV and all that crap !

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 3:40:01 AM)

Those are some great ideas, chatte. I do think weeding pros out from the general members would be good. Every day there's another batch of them.

CoreFocus -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 3:42:53 AM)

And please all the cocks and pussy shots removed from the profiles as first pictures.
It even says during upload they are not allowed.
I don't mind them as second picture....but many are just not fun while you eat..lol

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 3:52:56 AM)

I so agree with that. Actually, I don't want to see them at all. If we haven't reached an intimate rapport, I don't want to see your naughty bits. Just the way it is.

Absolutely. Can't tell you how many times I read a profile, thought hmmmm maybe then clicked on his pics and yep cock pics galore! So much for that, I'm not interested in a man who is clearly more in love with his cock than he will ever be in me.

Should CM have a verification system?

I think yes, mostly for gender.

are you going to donate nuff monies for this "system"? you dont think every person on this forum hasnt already thought of that idea? lets get this bitch a fucking award for her amazing abilities!

I don't know who you are, but you had to make up a new nic just to call someone a bitch. What a sweetheart you are.[8|]

xxblushesxx -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 6:24:05 AM)

But don't we get several of those pretty gold letters first? I always have, and I always knew when the ban hammer was coming. It was *almost* always my fault for not being able to keep my bad little fingers from typing something I shouldn't have.

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 6:27:15 AM)

No, not always, there are some who just get banned or moderated with no explanation whatsoever.

BoxwineForBrunch -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 7:02:40 AM)

oh god yes. and not just for the obvious things.

i think we can all agree gender/height/weight/age/income/assets/political affiliation/religious beliefs/favorite book/favorite television show/favorite season of the office must not only be verified but must be kept CURRENT please (accompanied by photographic updates with each new hairstyle/significant gain or loss in weight). this part is a no-brainer.

has anybody noticed though that there is absolutely no verification or enforcement in the "interests" section of profiles? i mean what the hell? as it stands, anybody can identify themselves as an "expert" who "lives for" roller coasters and there is no way to check out their story. i mean wake up, people, someone can just willy nilly claim they are an "expert" chess player and not even know from a nimzo-indian defence, unacceptable. there should be entrance exams administered for the "interests" list and only people who achieve a sufficiently high score can claim "expert" status. i suppose "body of work" could count instead of exams, if you want to let people off easy, for instance anyone who has achieved a sufficiently high score at mortal kombat in a credentialed arcade could be an "expert" of arcade games.

the key for this, or any other, website is always to increase the amount of interference from arbitrary authority figures as much as possible! that makes for a universally better experience.

mnottertail -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 7:07:11 AM)

Yeah,,,,,,,one niner niner, we have an unidentified gash trampling the inner perimeter of CM, perform verification sequence charlie victor, I say again, verification sequence charlie victor....

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Should CM have a verification system? (12/6/2011 7:08:53 AM)

Maybe some mail-in test pamphlets to prove expertness will be required.

Your profile says you're an online financial Domme.

As long as their checks don't bounce, do you really give a fuck?

Lmfao I think its a good idea for everyone but especially good for the people with professions.

So what exactly are you going to verify?

That yes, you are only interested in their money and not a weal twue lifestyle domme?
