I don't know that her relationship is abusive....just that she uses bdsm as a way to deal with her shortcomings and a way to escape her dull life...one of these people that makes things more exciting and thrilling than they actually are but yet it's real to them. I don't know how else to explain it. Basically they're childlike....you know how little kids are excited and thrilled with a plain brown cardboard box that they can make it seem like a castle, a car, etc...? I think that's how she views the world.

Someone I used to know had her pinkie chopped off because she was ok with it and he was sadistic.
She often talked about how someday she expected to die at his hands.

It's not that anyone is offended exactly by Stacy, concerned though, yes. Although her posts on another thread bordered being offensive to the subject, its more her odd responses that seem strange. No one called her a retard either. No one is saying she's mean spirited exactly, but that her replies don't make much sense in being connected to real life or they're not connected to what is being said here in the forums. It's the disconnect that was, and is, worrisome to many of the posters. Might be nice if you noticed that no one was slamming her at all for being a 'retard', but quite a few people have, as a matter of fact, showed concern.

I apologize Fornica, you're right. I used it because I was quoting HisPet21. I do find that word offensive as well which is why I replied to her, because no one actually ever used that word that I saw before she did.

I didn't get concern. I just read the whole thread, and there were a lot of unnecessary insults thrown Stacy's way, and then some nice comparisons to Stacy and a three year old playing in a box. Now, I haven't read many other threads w/ Stacy's commentary, but I didn't see her being all that bad in this thread. Maybe this is just more new poster hazing, IDK, but its still rude.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I just feel that the term "retarded" has changed in the same way the term "moron" has. Both used to be technical terms for the mentally disabled and have, since then, become slang for "stupid." Since I find it rude to call the mentally disabled "stupid," I generally don't think of the term "retard" in reference to them. Sometimes I forget that others do.

People were hyper reacting to things she said in other threads - maybe not totally fair, but people tend to form opinions of each other based on posts - normal behavior on a messageboard...

Well, I don't know if you have read her profile, or paid much attention to things she said about being "loaned" out, but if there is "slowness" there, someone encouraging her to do that is being abusive in my eyes.  People who are "slow" don't have the compentency to consent.

Okay, well that makes sense then. I've really only read this thread and a few other posts by her, so sorry to spaz out. Internet hazing just annoys me, I guess. But here, perhaps its justified and I didn't know it.
