You haven't said how much of a time investment you are willing to make, but it would seem that people must be making money reading books out loud and recording it for the various audio book companies. I've thought about looking into that myself, but haven't done so yet.

You can house sit fairly casually for friends, and friends of friends. Since you are not looking to turn it into a big business, it doesn't have to be complicated. I will say, though, that most people without pets aren't going to bother with a short term house sitter. I am also gone long hours, and I have pets. My house and property are set up so my animals are cared for when I am gone during the day, but at a minimum, they need care twice a day. So don't assume that it is not something you can do, despite your work schedule.

FR I don't know if this is the going rate across the country, but a young man out by us sells his plasma, 250.00 a month. He basically lays on a cot, so no exercise involved! You can go at your leisure, but I don't know the requirements, or how they test. There are usually ads in the paper, or you can call the local hospital for info.

Regarding blood: A disadvantage of giving blood is that you do get tired for a day or two afterwards. (That's whole blood, maybe if you just donate platelets or something it won't hit you as hard). If angel is already stressed and working hard she could end up getting sick. I donate, not sell, but I assume insuring the purity or safety of the blood is similar for both. There will be stringent requirements. For example you'll be disqualified for various reasons like, having traveled abroad to certain countries, having lived in places with mad cow disease, recent tattoos, illegal drug use, anemia, having had certain diseases like malaria, using certain prescription drugs (like blood thinners) etc... The reason blood is so valuable is that not everybody has "pure blood". January

I know a lady who lives in nevada who collects aluminum cans and when she has half ton or so she takes it to california and scraps it...she makes about a dollar a pound because there is no deposit on cans in nevada (where she buys them for the price of scrap aluminum) and there is in california.

Igor. That's just it I never know how much time I have I would say I could probably due 10 hrs minimum a week

If you only give plasma, that shouldn't change your hemoglobin count. (Note, I'm not a doctor, consult one before you make a decision on that)

Before givng blood or plasma I would like to give you a thorough medical exam...while I am not a doctor I do like to play doctor. I was once almost arrested for giving free breast exams door to door[;)][;)]

Well, see, they put the red blood cells back in, so I understand. Lots of companies do consumer product testing and focus group stuff. I don't know much about it, but I don't think it would be all that time-consuming.

Your problem lies elsewhere really, you need to conserve at home and get that under control at first, you say you buy like these prime turkey breasts or chicken breasts (and so on not just those) buy less do more wait for sales, turn off the lights and so on.....become fiscally responsible more. learn to can, grow a garden, sell veggies in the summer, canned goods at the farmers market...lotsa stuff you could do....
