Truthfully, i don't know what else to call them. Background is first D/s dynamic with an experienced Dom, about 9 months. The last month or so has been a little confusing.

Ok, stuff like telling you in a couple of days, we are going to do this and this. And it is something that makes your hair stand on ends. Then the day comes and it's spa day. wtf? lol. Sends a message after you're already in route, knowing you won't get it, you're in trouble if you are late or don't answer the message. It's actually been fun, gets the blood to pumping so i'm not really complaining.

How much do mind fucks, or correct me if i'm seeing this kind of stuff wrong, figure into your dynamic? Any favorites/examples/best? What would be your definition of a sadistic mind fuck? Do you think the timing is because trust has been established? i see the future is going to be interesting......

The worst one that happened to me was being made to feel like i'd been left alone in the dark. :p

But I knew a girl who melted downn under pressure after a whole bunch of rigamaroll was built up about a scene at an upcoming party. They went overboard and she went off the edge and couldn't get her emotionns under control.

There's a balance I guess.

If it happens too much without followthrough, I can see a person either getting accustomed, bored, or perpeetually in doubt.

I'm glad this works for you and that you enjoy it. I'd have a really hard time with it, I like a solid base with my SO, not uncertainty or too much I'm this one moment, and this in another moment. I need to trust on a very deep level to really give myself to someone, which I consider the core of what I offer in D/s. The trust comes from that solid base of having him model constancy in our relationship - I just couldn't handle twists and turns. I'd be deeply unhappy.

I hope you find some awesome things in this discussion though!

I wouldn't like mind fucks as you're describing them here. If someone says he's going to do X, I'll lose faith in him if X doesn't happen. I don't want to be set up for failure either.

Thanks for the feedback ladies. I can see where it could be over the top and break trust.

It's not a habitual thing with Him and all has came out good in the end, playful even, so it's not so bad. I've seen a few profiles with the mind fucks mentioned and wondered like what? Hopefully, some can give their insight.

Spend about half a year teaching a grown man to suckle than when he really isn't paying attention some night work your way up to having sex. Get him to call you mommy while you are having sex.....you have no idea how much this will mess with someone. It messes with them even more if they either have never known their mother or lost her at a young age.

mind fucks can be really hot - if done well its like foreplay before youve even started.  i think its the anticipation and the power of the imagination that gets the brain ticking and everything else flowing.

the trouble with a mind fuck that doesnt deliver is that its a bit of a let down and an anti-climax and if that happens enough times it starts to get a bit like crying wolf, in the end you stop responding.

for me a good mind fuck is one that builds you up and when you get to it, it seriously delivers in ways you just hadnt anticipated.  otherwise its all foreplay and no enchilada - not so much fun.

thanks MIP and lally! Most of them have been carried out and it was more fun than i anticipated (ok one not so much lol). And i had to google this week how to get perma marker off....that hand sanitizer is handy stuff. No, not the face, thank goodness, but enough to peak over clothing.

I haven't had a ton of mind fucks but they have been mostly light hearted fun and good times. Some have been spicy, heart pounding, and baffling.....but, overall, His imagination is awesome. Love it.

It wasn't intended to be funny. It was intended to be a sadistic mindfuck if I were to ever do it but in a totally safe manner.

Ive seen worse. One couple on here a coupla years ago recalled how they met a sub that insisted she had no limits. She was tied up and Himself brought out a sawzall and some plastic sheeting just to watch her reaction. I'd say what I suggested is a walk in the park compared to that.

These were my thoughts to a t, I don't do mind fucks, I need solid and dependable to feel safe. I don't want to live on a roller coaster of emotions, I have enough problems with some of that as it is all on my own. I wouldn't do well in the sort of relationship you described, also yeah... being set up to fail would make me sad and then eventually resentful.

I also have to say(in defence of the sick and twisted) I once had a boy that swore often he wanted to be a girl. When I finally got sick of hearing him saying it I took about half an hour, a few years of medical knowlege, and a bit of a ripped off scene from the movie Hard Candy to show him he didnt really want what he was asking for. The best part of the whole thing was making him watch the movie later, naked and crying, on my living room floor.

If en route means while you're driving, then he's an idiot. Studies show that talking or texting while driving is equal to driving while drunk. So punishing you for not wanting to kill yourself or someone else is unacceptable.

As to the rest, some people can handle this and some can't. It's up to you to decide if this is something you enjoy or not.

Myself, I have an anxiety disorder and I can't handle being told ahead of time about things that will be difficult for me. I melt down and we have to cancel it as a result. I do better with him just doing it to me unexpectedly.

Yeah mindfucks are pretty much a standard thing around here...the difference is I never know if what he says or does is or will be the real thing or if he's just trying to get a rise out of me. The times that I thought he was just doing a mindfuck on me and I just shrugged it off it backfired on me lol....so I don't try to second guess him anymore. I just assume it will happen eventually.
