In my fifty one years (seems like 37 million) I've noticed many signs of male pattern baldness. In many individuals. Now people say I'm not weird or something but they are wrong. I pay attention to different details than others. Actually many more details than most. I understand this and embrace it and could maybe enlighten you as to what it's like.
Scratch comes along and says - for MONTHS ! - that the number thirteen has been showing up alot lately. Now I know on a short run thirteen can show up alot, it's just how statistically it comes up just like the number fucking 57 can come up time and time again for a short period of time.
There is actually a named phobia for this - the FEAR of the number thirteen. It's something-o-phobia I ain't looking it up. But how I cured it was to tell the dude to start looking for the number twelve. Fucking couple days later he calls and says "You're right". Ask me about lottery numbers sometime, you would be surprised at how much sense I can make, at times. I don't play it because it's a sucker bet but if you absolutely must, I can tell you how to do it better.
Well since I've already hijacked my own damn thread even though noone knows it yet, when you play the lottery it is a paramutual prize, which means that the more peole win, the less each gets. ANY number has an equal chance of winning so therefore it is logical to play number that less people play.
What do the stupid people play ? Dates, maybe times. Years. Cubic inch engine displacements, perhaps the horsepower of their lawnmower or the wattage of their stereo. Anything, and it's not really stupid because any number has an equal chance.
But the prize is paramutual so smart money bets on what the others don't. The prize varies of course but that has no bearing on the outcome of the drawing. The trick to getting more money is to share it with less people ! MWA HA HA HA HA HA.
So what do we have ? There are two steps, first of all there are twelve months in a year and a maximum of thirtyone days each. All numbers lower should be avoided - BUT NOT EXCLUDED ! Betting against those numbers coming in is as stupid as betting for them.
You change the slope, the trend. First of all you "tend" to play higher numbers. Just. And use some fucking money. The deal is if you can spend say a hundred a week on the megabucksfuckingwhatever, you might get a quarter to a third of your money back on average. This just keeps you in the game and maybe eventually you hit the big one. But you have to feed it constantly, and like I said the odds suck. You also need luck.
But actually this thread was about hair. Really.
What I've noticed is tha most of the bald or balding guy I know or have known have worn hats. According to the movies guy always wore cowboy hats and weren't bald but now they are. Now I'm not really tlking about the hat squeezing the head and cutting off circulation but that could be a factor. In fact some of them I think it cut off the brain, but that's another thing.
The thing here is that I have almost never worn a hat, and it gets fucking COLD here. I also have a problem with gloves. But I am 51 and I don't think I've lost a single hair - permanently that is. Fuckin shit is all over the place. Sticks straight up and shit.
So I think the body responds to a cold head by growing hair. You put a hat on it and keep it warm the body says "Fukit, the brain is plenty warm, no need for hair there".
