Hi,

Just here to introduce myself.  I am not new to CollarMe, although it has been quite some time.  Also not new to BDSM, 8 yrs of knowing about my submissiveness has taught me a lot. 

I am lucky to be owned by not only a gentleman but a gentle man.  Although we are long distance, we manage to make it work because we want to do so.  We know that we are no longer the youngins we once were, and that at our age, we know what we want.  We share the same core values and believe in each other.  It hasn't been an easy time, but we get through it with openness, communication and honesty.

Fornica, thread, and here I was thinking post.  My brain gets muddles sometimes.  This was one of those times.  I'll have to check out that intro. And nooooo, Lance doesn't yell, please don't cry or you'll get me going too.  We could flood the country, can't have that.  Well, at least I know I could flood at least an entire province with tears in a matter of hours. 

And thank you Lance for the kind welcome also.  I do know how to post an intro, not like some others I've seen in the past.  *ahem*  Takes a bow. [;)]

What I did was what was any good Dom would do.  Instruction delivered in a firm tone of voice.

You want to be yelled at?  NOT going to happen.  I don't yell.  On a keyboard, BIG LETTERS are yelling.  In real life, punishment is simple.... withdrawal.  If the sub wants interaction, is there a better punishment than withdrawal?  Time-outs, or corner-time, or "Do not send an e-mail or call or in anyway try to contact me for the next 36 hours."  (Of course, length of punishment depends on the severity of the misbehavior.)

My very favorite:  "I'm so disappointed in you.  Please take as much time as you think you need to think about what you've done.  Come back when you're ready to chat about it and how you intend to prevent that from happening again."

After hearing that, that would be the time to start crying..... but only if that was directed at you..... which it most certainly is NOT!

Wow, that's all I had to say there.  Okay, well maybe a bit more than that.  I know my intro won't go to 6 pages, but then I'm not fanning the flames either.  I know better than that.  And the negative attitude?  Just blech. 

Makes me so glad to live in Canada and not where she is.  At least there's a country and a whole lot of space between her and me.  More than geographically too apparently.  Thank the Lawd for small favors.
