"...first sight of a salt truck, 3 weeks after the roads have already turned to ice" I loved Michigan. I even had fun growing up in the Detroit area. However, I prefer to relish my fond memories from Daytona Beach and never wanna' go back. I'll pass on the 12 feet deep snow that falls in the UP (lake effect snow they call it), the iced over roads in the south and a windchill of 20 below. Yuppers, I'm glad to finally have turned off the air conditioner and opened the windows. I'm happy my biggest gripe is that the pool is too chilly to go swimming right now. I am thrilled that my seasonal weather related home improvement plans are for something better than the solar pool heater instead of repaving my salt & ice corroded driveway like northerners do. <--- beach bum for life.

It does get chilly here in winter... 60s. I miss the other coast, it was warmer. I'm with you on the Miami preference. My goal is to get the company and my finances in order so I can live in South Beach.
