I am new to the life style and have always been curious about the use of a cock ring. Are they effective? How do you "install"?

Depending upon the type and quality, it should slip over a semi-erect penis and tighten up at full erection.

It's purpose is to help maintain tight blood circulation (helping erectile problems slightly) and restrict seminal flow for added orgasmic stimulation.

Can be fun. Not a necessary toy by any means, as a well trained hand will do quite nicely.

There are also creams that will reduce sensation, to a degree, that will help prolong the experience, but too much and you will not only go limp, you will stay limp for quite a while. Friend of mine discovered this the hard (pun intended) way back in high school. Granted, it might not have been so amusing had we all not been so blitzed that we were all flammable at 5 feet. LOL

the creams may not be a bad idea but doesn't that also reduce the sensation for your partner?
