There's nothing wrong with used cheese.

These are just rotten children.

Understandably, kids don't want a half eaten PB&J, but most of those kids really looked like terrible brats.  The one kid crying and screaming, "I hate you?"  Sure a joke is a joke, but at least the little blonde girl with the half eaten PB&J attempted to be grateful and cared about her mom's feelings.

Sorry, while I laughed, I still found those kids reactions very sad.

I'd be too embarrassed to send a video in if my child behaved the way some of those children did.  I agree with LL - yes, its a joke and it was funny, but geez, the one kid really was over the top in bad behavior.   Its one thing to not be happy with a gift and look dissappointed, but seriously some of these kids were completely bad sports!

Like you, I found the little blonde gal precious, and the big raging boy reprehensible. Were I his parents, I would be loathe to make that film public....bad reflection, and all that.

I'm thinkin' a sound thrashing might be in order for that big, little punkboy. You up to the job, Lookie?

Wow, I agree.. I'd be ashamed to show a video like that of my daughter if she acted like that. Guess some parents need to learn the art of trussing them up in duct tape and letting them think about their behavior for  a few days down in a damp, dark basement.. :-o

I hadn't watched the entire video yet when I showed it to my mom....you should have seen her face when the boy told his mother to lick his balls.

Pretty obscene little terrorist, huh? And to think that beast will be unleashed upon the public at large. Frightening! Heaven help us all.

Do that and you know what you will get? Future CM posters.

Okay, seriously, folks. These are kids - kids who are being used as the butt of a joke - and their reactions was pretty much what you'd expect from kids that age (most of whom have not yet learned when or how to tell social lies skillfully). You get all excited being told that you are going to get a present and then...

I think the "over the top" kid was more upset about being the butt of a joke and the sandwhich girl was clearly disappointed (hell, you could probably plot the reactions on a bell curve). While these reactions may be indicitive of future personalities as adults, there's no betting on it. Still, I would have liked to seen the kids told that it was a joke followed by a more normal present.

Kudos to the girl who still managed to enjoy her rotten banana. I hope I'm not breaking TOS by suggesting that she may be a future Domme: This dissapoints me. I can still have fun with it though but I must punish it first.

I'm thinking you'll have to take a number and get in line. I suspect Lookie will be leading the pack on this mission.

I'm sorry, but a kid saying "tell him to lick my balls" goes beyond disappointment and into WATCH YOUR MOUTH,BUSTER (followed by a liberal dose of Dial soap applied to the tongue), IMO. My Mother (who, as a few folks here can personally attest to, and who also was NOT big on corporal punishment) is one of the kindest, gentlest souls around, would have smacked my ass BIGTIME had I said that, especially in response to a gift (joke gift or not).

I'm with marc2b on this, I didn't see anything really all that bad with any of the reactions apart from of course the chubby boy who went way over the top.

I found the sheer stoicism of the little girl with the banana endearing as it was touching and even the girl with the half eaten sandwich tried her best.

I laughed at the reaction of the little boy at the end. It was such an adult reaction. Just goes to show that you can never be too careful around kids. My neighbour downstairs had a similar experience last weekend when she took her three year old to see Santa for the first time. The little girl asked for a couple of the usual toys and then 'some spliff for Mummy because she's been really good..' At that point my neighbour just wanted to vanish.

Of course I'm not condoning swearing by kids one bit, but they live in this world too and they are just as perceptive, if not more so, as adults.

I'm not saying a little discipline might not be in order, only that it (and our judgement of these kids) should be tempered with the knowledge of their ages and the fact that the kids were set up. It should also be considered that such reactions (like the "I hate you kid) are not necessarily the result of poor upbringing but can be the result of neurological disorders some of which can result in an inability to deal with frustration. Believe me, I know. I have a niece and a grand nephew (her son), both of whom who have had problems in this area.
