Ridiculous.  Pregnancy is 9 months, but 40 weeks.  However, when most people say they are "9 months" pregnant, they are hitting the countdown of "any day" now.

If this post isn't fake, then it is someone who deserves to have "pesky child welfare" involved in their life.  Yes, we all need our needs met, and at the end of pregnancy, mom-to-be can get bored waiting, especially if in a new town (presumably because she is in a more remote area of Alaska normally) just waiting to give birth.

But if mom-to-be is only thinking about needing to get "her needs met" of the kinky sort, I'm with Fornica, time to grow the fuck up and take care of your baby.  Because it is no longer and never will be "all about you" or all about your "dominant."  There's a new dominant coming to town that is in charge of everyone, a baby.

Yeah, I dont get the new town angle. How did she travel there at 9 months? You cant drive in, its not accessible by road if I remember correctly. At 9 months, many airlines wont allow a pregnant woman to fly. Typically the cut off is 7 - 8 months, with 8 being the cut off for most major airlines.

Welcome to the forums, OP.  I can't say I'd want to be this far north and be nine months along.  I can just imagine that I'd be sprawled out on the ice somewhere.

It's possible that she took the ferry.

I dont know that much about the area, LP. Just doesnt sound right that a woman would leave behind her doctor in the late months of her pregnancy to go somewhere new to have a baby, and be looking for someone to serve in the meantime.

Possible, yes. Probable....

But, stranger things have been known to happen. [:D]

FR

IF we take it at face value, it could be that Juneau has the hospital where her doctors are and she is living there to be closer to them so that when she goes into labor she doesn't really have to worry about weather and road/ferry conditions or be airlifted.

even at face value and assuming she's really on the level, why wouldn't her dom want to be there with her at this stage of the game? True, he might have a good reason, and she might not be looking for anything hard or extreme.. which is why I remain neutral and reserve judgment. But I do want to mirror the others' concerns for the health and well-being of the baby. Always put it first, else you'll find out child welfare services is staffed by people who make Doms look like sissyboys and emotional sadists look like sweet lil puppies.. (But then again, maybe that's what she's truly hoping to find in the end..? o.O)

I don't know, it just seems incredulous. At nine months I was so uncomfortable I could hardly take a deep breath or walk. Everything I did was a strain and uncomfortable. I'm finding it hard to believe that someone wants to get kinky at this stage of the game. If you've carried the child this far why would you put it at risk for some fun? It just doesn't add up for me. If it is for real, I really have no respect for a woman who would do this to herself and her unborn child. Also as Casteele brought up about her partner, why in the world would a so-called Dom let his property put herself and the child at risk? The whole thing is weird.

I'm calling bullshit on this thread. It seems to be one of those "just right" scenarios to get people cranked up.

Casteele -> RE: pregnant switch with permission to accommodate another dom while in juneau (12/18/2011 10:48:30 AM)

Hrmm, she has not been back.. Jus' look at what y'all done did do! You've induced her in to early labor with your thoughtless and insensitive comments.

Oh well, life goes on. Who wants some of this pizza?

lizi -> RE: pregnant switch with permission to accommodate another dom while in juneau (12/18/2011 10:54:52 AM)

Pizza.....? Me!

Maybe he isn't the father?

::sends over some pizza:: All I got to drink is water though.. Not a beer drinker and gave up soda and such as part of my health improvement regime.

I s'pose, but I cannot wrap my head around why any guy would be like that. If I'm with a girl in a relationship, I don't believe it's "pick and choose." Especially when there's a child involved. So what happens when it's born? Does he grudgingly put it up in a doghouse out back, saying that as long as it's not his, he'll just treat it like some pet? It doesn't make sense to me.

But then again, I've coached through three child births, but only one was mine. (Two were just friends which I happened to be available when the time came.) I dunno.
