When you have Amazon Prime, every day is free shipping day! (and you'd be surprised what will ship for free!)

Doesn't that cost money though, if you buy anything usually over 25 bucks at amazon, that's usually free yes? or is amazon prime usable outside of amazon?

I think we pay $70. per year for Amazon Prime, and it pays for itself. Many items on Amazon do have the "this item ships free when you spend $25. or more". But with Prime we get what we want, when we want and don't worry about spending the $25. each time. You can also have items delivered the next day for $3.99. which to me is a bargain. It's definitely not for everyone, but it works well for us.

I have some friends who share an Amazon Prime membership with family members. They all put in towards it and save money. It definitely works for some people. happy online shopping bonanza #2 :p

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You can invite a certain number of people to be on your account for free. (I think it's four others, but I don't remember)

ahh, okay. I always see it but don't order enough from there to justify the 70 as i don't remember the last time i paid for shipping lol cause what i usually want is over 25 bucks. thanks for the explanation. Yeah no kidding enjoy the free shipping lol i didn't all of my shopping yesterday but thankfully didn't pay for shipping as i got deals. angel

I've never looked into Amazon Prime, although I've been shopping there for years. I have recently been shopping on AmazonUk, because my baby boy moved to England, and other then the currency exchange fee, which is minimal, I can still spoil him from afar. [:D] (and shipping anything there is ridiculously expensive!)

Thanks for the nudge! I finally bought my Dad's Xmas present and with the points from my Amazon rewards card, it came to $5.43. I wonder if there's an easy way to add up all my shipping costs for the year? I shop on Amazon a lot and endeavor to get free shipping but it's a pain trying to get that $25 minimum and/or find vendors who participate in FREE Super Saver Shipping.

Unfortunately, I ordered flowers for my mom and former mother in law earlier thisbweek, not knowing about free shipping day. I feel kind of ripped off
