The BDSM lifestyle has many different levels of involvement and facets.
One of the aspects that I enjoy is bondage. Be it rope, chain, straps, or whatever is available, the look of a girl bound is fantastic to me.
Being one that lives for control, bondage is one activity that reguardless of form and extent always pleases me.
What do you get out of bondage, either the rigger or subject.

I enjoy the feeling that, no matter how much I may want to, I can't run and hide,
and am forced to not only present myself to him, but to also remain present.

I've found over the years that being present may or may not indicate where you mind has gone. Many in my past feel very free while tightly bound and "go to their place" and become relaxed.

I like the feeling of being restricted and constricted too.
It's a kind of security, but also it's control - like poise said, there's no option to run and hide.
I like the feeling of captivity, and I like tight bondage that tests how tightly my limbs can be pulled together, or spread apart, whatever. :p
It's kid of like objectification in a way; a way to be reshaped into whatever the other person wants. :p

Oh and I have to add, like Des, I've had orgasms from bondage, but mostly rope. Something about the feel of rope on my skin, the pulling and binding, it puts me on the line and over it really fast.

Bondage for me is sometimes simply a beautiful object. She is not touched.

relaxation. Tight immovable bondage helps me to relax. If I can't move I can zone out and just be, I can meditate, I can fly.

He likes it because once I start zoning out he can do more sadistic things to me without me screaming out my lungs lol.

Rope is a beautiful thing. Any rope. When I was a sub, I could O just from the rope touching my skin. Now that I'm a Domme, I just love the look of man in rope and knowing that I put him there.

As a top, I see two things in it -

The first is the restraint - She is tied down, can't resist, and completely at my whim, something for me to play with.  That is just hot.

The second is artistic - This is honestly beyond my level, but when the ropework becomes the end-goal itself, and the bottom and the rope become one piece of artwork.  We have some really good riggers in Atlanta, and it's always amazing to watch them work.

Boredom. Luckily Gary feels the same. I love to watch suspension bondage. However, I have never felt the need to be the one being tied.

for me as a slave it is a very intimate experince the touch of the rigge being forced to maintian a set position the feeling of the rope. it realy helps me as someone that has add to focus and relax. my Mistress dosent do rope bondage but has allowed me to be tied up as i do enjoy it.

I enjoy it from an artistic point of view as a model, and from a masochist's angle as well. Luckily my guy is a sadist with a sailboat.
(Lots of rope used & the possibilities "abound"...)
