In the 'read mail' page, there's a button that says 'unsend checked'...does this mean users can just click that and 'unsend' mail that's been sent to another user already? If anyone knows for sure, I'd love to hear what this button's about. Thanks [:D] t.o.g.

It unsends any message that HAS NOT BEEN READ. I have used it when I noticed a larger typo just as I was sending it. Other than that, not a very useful button. Yours, benji

You guessed it. And the other person will still see that you "unsent" the message. You can only unsend it IF it has not yet been read. I am not sure ... but I think if you delete the message ... it also goes away ... but I don't think it shows up at all on the other end (unless they've already read it). If you want to experiment ... you can with me. Hope this helps

I knoe this is a little off center of this topic but since the OPs question has been answered... I wonder what happened to the feature in the mail section that told if your post had been deleted unread??? I thought it was a useful feature, as it stands right now your post can sit in one's box & you have no way of telling if it's still there or they've deleted it unread...

I didn't know they'd changed that feature ... but now that you mention it ... I haven't seen any "deleted unread" in a long while. Bet it was bad PR ... too many females delete emails wholesale & it caused some comments to the SIGOPS. Guess they figure it's easier to leave the idiots wondering rather than field any complaints.

With unsending, the "envelope" is still there, but the contents are deleted. I also found the "deleted unread" feature useful. Good information to have, right? I mean, not a pleasant thing to see, but good info, just the same. Bob

Also...if you unsend mail that hasn't been read and that mail had a photo attachment...the photo still gets sent. Keep that in mind. They won't get the email, but will still get the pic. I learned the hard way. :(
