Hi there and welcome!

Oh, not really of any import, but I just have to tell you;  I once had a French Maid outfit just like that outfit you have in one of your pics!  Fun times [;)]

Greetings and welcome to rach and chell! Glad to have y'all aboard. Best of British to you!

And thank you, I was getting so bored and uninspired with all the standard issue wanker intros that I was down to snorting the coffee grounds directly trying to get the creative juices percolating again.

Welcome girls, or is it Princesses? You project the image that leaves the men panting! I'm not going any further!

Seconded and I grew up in West Yorkshire, which is a bit further south.

Welcome to the boards anyway.

I once took an Intro linguistics class.  First class, prof went around asking us to read the sentence he had written on the board.  He was able to tell your linguistic background to a high degree of accuracy.

When he got to me, he said, "Ah, a pure vowel speaker from the north side of Chicago."  Seems folks from north side of Chicago speak with exactly ten vowels, long and short of each of a, e, i, o, and u.  Whenever he needed to make a point, I was usually the student he used as an example.  I remember his speaking of the "Mary, merry, marry" line which basically divides US into "da nord" and "dem der Sutherners."  Of course, my ears hear three different words.

HOW-SOME-SO-EVER, I also would like a translation.  Never did figure out that rhyming thingie.

ETA:  WELCOME, Ladies..... or is it "Laddies"?
