If so then get some assistance so that isn't the case.

Again, get a handle on your issues... which brings me to

3) Destined to be scum? You sound depressed (among other things). Again go and seek the help you need.
It is impossible to know what you really want or even like when your head is filled with so much non-sense.

If you don't like the way your life is (and it does sound that way) then change it. If you don't have the tools or ability to do that (and again, it does sound that way) then get help via therapy so that you can learn how to have a satisfying life and be happy.

Happiness is an inside job.

and thank you angelika. i'm sorry for kind of falling apart in my earlier comment. basically i was pretty close to getting a job, i've been searching for several months and in the same day my truck breaks down and my interview was canceled so i felt like i got kicked in the chest by bruce lee

Although individual therapy is great. Group therapy and self help groups have their place. Look up ACOA meetings. All you need is a dollar for the pot and you will meet people who will understand how you feel. And not feeling alone is a very empowering thing.

We create our own destinies by the way we think. Start by wanting more for yourself, vocalize it, and work on liking yourself. Do you want to like yourself? If so, stand in front of the mirror and tell yourself that.

Then go get that job find a "sliding scale" type therapist, who bills based on your income.

while i would probably enjoy it more now, subbingforyou, back then i needed pain to cope with things back then. i would divulge everything but i don't feel like writing a nightmarish novel
