I have never heard that SD/SB relationships were supposed to be sexless; quite the opposite. I hate the name, and I would not choose to apply it to any relationship of my own, but I have been in a couple of relationships with younger women who needed "help". I think of it more as having a mistress (in the non-BDSM sense of the word). As many "pro-Dommes" as there are on the board, I would hope people would be non-judgemental about the financial aspect.

I understand that the common understanding is that it's an exchange of sex for money, but according to the ladies I know who are involved in such things, this is incorrect. They claim that if they would exchange sex for money, they'd rather be an escort because they would make more buck for their bang (so to speak) by charging per session.

I do have reason to believe this is true, because other ladies on that particular site (and some of the sb's) are also escorts.

"Pro-dommes" also do not have sex for money btw. (although some come perilously close to the line and others do cross it, I've heard) But in its purest form it is a power exchange, not a sexual one, although sexual tension will undoubtedly be present.

And yeah, people are always going to be judgmental in some way when there is an exchange of money and more than a hint of sex.

I wonder about this, though. I have seen plenty of relationships that might not have bore a label but the woman was obviously only with the man until the money ran out. True enough, I always called these women what they were, anyway but they seemed to believe they were above that.

Anyway, I'd like to get back to this younger lady, possibly paying my bills ... LOL

We've known several women whose life was being "kept". It's a hard life, especially as you age.
