Another favorite gift this year was just having a good spirit maintained the whole season. No grumpy bah humbug this year!

The best gift I received this past year was ringing in the new year (2011) with my 95 year old grandma.(the lady who raised me and is mom) She stayed up playing cards with us until 1 or 2 in the morning. Somewhere, I have pics of me making "bunny ears" behind her as we were playing.
16 days later, she was gone. So, the rest of the year has been pretty sucky. There have been a lot of firsts this year, unfortunately.
