Only problem with this article - it is becoming increasingly clear that scientist understand very little about genes and how they work. Pronouncments like this make good journalism but shit science. I would be more apt to believe my sexual desires are in her jeans.

Sure, where was this when I was a teenager and my parents got on me about my sexual bahavior. Could have pointed at them and said, I got it from you. I hope it is true. My parents are in their mid fifties and still hump like rabbits.

...Saw this posting and thought "genes/jeans"... Obviously I'm not nearly the only one. Whenever the "genetic disposition" theory is espoused, I find it necessary to say that people are far more complex than their genes. Behavior is a matter of choice. The devil didn't make you do it. Even if genes incline you in a certain direction, you are the one who makes the choice and takes the step.

i would have to totally disagree with this in my family sex was a duty of types i have never heard a family member discuss liking sex it was always that they didnt...maybe i was adopted

Is it your genes or your early training.... who really knows. Too complex to isolate all the factors and test.

It's not shit science.
