Jay Wiseman has an excellent book, The Erotic Bondage Handbook. It's available in many good bookstores both on- and off-line or at www.greenerypress.com

The same publisher has a book on Japanese bondage by Midori called.. of course.. Japanese Bondage.

tammad had some great rope harness "how to's" on his page.

sadly, he's not with us anymore, but his site still is.

and he also has a chain harness which i enjoy linking onto someone.. it can be heavy though and it's best to use quick links instead of trying to tie knots in chain.

My two main sources of information were googling around the internet and joining a few rope groups on yahoo, the people have been very friendly and knowledgeable with great instructions for ties.
