For anyone that digs this stuff I highly recommend Blue Planet and Planet Earth DVDs. They totally rock.

My pleasure Hlen. Underwater film like that always has such a soothing, hypnotic effect on me. I think those critters, and their environment is so stunning, I find it hard to wrap my head around it. It's just so beautiful, and perfectly balanced.

Boy oh boy, do I ever miss Jacque Cousteau.

The white ferny things are coral polyps and the things at 2:52 is a tubeworm (christmas tree worm) and a nudibranch.

I agree! The last time I was in Florida, I went snorkeling. I spent at least 20 minutes watching a cowfish (I think!!) eating something that looked like an intestine! I saw first hand what it looked like to be within a huge school of little minnow-like fish. They moved like a single organism!

The most exciting thing of all, was seeing something out of the corner of my eye and realizing it was a manta-ray! I thought about following it and started to, but then I thought I wouldn't be able to find the cowfish again! Also, although I knew Manta-rays aren't dangerous (generally), this landlocked chick was a lttle aprehensive of going further out!

It was soooo cool, I felt like I was watching J Cousteau. I've always loved Nat'l Geo specials! Duh duhduh daaaaah da, duh duhduh daaaaah da, duh duhduh daaaah da, da da da!!

(What a geek I am!![8|][:)])
