If the poor guy had taken the kitten to a regular vet he would have had a better chance of finding someone who would help him. According to the AVMA, it's unethical to refuse at least basic care to an animal that is brought in to a facility seeking help. AND to top it all off they LIED to him. I wouldn't withhold donations, but they sure need some housecleaning of the staff.
