Training is a broad term used by many Doms that probably has little value describing what occurs in a D/s relationship. We miss the point when we focus on systems instead of concentrating on the person. The relationship is not the accumulation of motionless knowledge. The goal is to make the submissive aware of the importance of the relationship and to increase her thinking and concern for the structure. The desire to learn is going to come from her as she works towards strengthening the relationship. This may be that she will decide that she has to do things that she doesn’t want to do simply because it is best. To say that I can “train” her to that point is a misuse of words. Submissive learning has an emotional base. It is inspired. So back to the OP, if I were a sub, I would seek those who want to inspire me as opposed to train me.
