Ironically the song popped into my head after working with the dogs at the rescue for 2 hrs and 30 today. Thanks:) Working with some of those babies just takes it right out of me. I'm not very energetic anyway right now, but whew, try wrestling an active 1 year old back in his crate that don't wanna go in,or run down one that got loose, or have the rambunctious lil ones jumping at your face and trying to eat you with love, really wears me out.

Totally! I don't \mind the ones that need a lot of contact, or are "huggers and kissers" I mind them always jumping into my face with paws a flying to get it lol. Though I also understand how it's all worth it when they give you so much love in return for your efforts. there used to be a joke in the UK donkeys years ago You know you are getting old when someone says, "hey did you know that paul mccartney was in an band before wings" My dad was a huge beatles fan, and I grew up with them(born62) so ya, feelin real old now!
