Hey all –

As others have said: “newbie here.” Not only am I new to the scene, but also to this web site and even to using a message board. My partner has experience in the scene, and we have been trying some things out. We have great conversations about what we are doing and what this is all about, but this is not a topic of conversation I would bring up with friends at work. So, I’m hoping to meet some people who know the scene and can help me with a broader range of personal perspectives. What an interesting way to kick of 2012 – hope everyone had a great new year’s eve.

We haven't gotten out to any munches or other groups at this point. I'm still getting my head wrapped around the ideas. We had a "boy toy" slave over for an afternoon this weekend - first time I've played with anyone but my partner. it was an entirely different experience not only having someone i'd never met before "servicing" me, but also that my partner knew about it and thought it was great. Still working through what is exciting and what is a turn-off, and some of the more subtle issues of what works for a slave that also works for me. appreciate everyone saying hello and starting to toss some thoughts out.
