I'm fairly new to this community. I love the concept of having web-session as a way to get to know a domme, to see if the chemistry is there, prior to arranging something RT and potentially LTR. I am particularly interested in finding an Asian, Indian, or Middle Eastern domme, so obviously it's important to get to know eachother by chat and webcam, before flying off to Asia.

BUT, I have this TERRIBLE fear of being blackmailed. And I hate blackmail. I had a very bad "rookie moment" when I first joined this community, where a psycho domme was threatening to send our chat logs to all my facebook contacts.

Obviously I learned from that, closed my facebook page, changed my user id name, etc, however I have this terrible fear of doing a webcam session, afraid I'm going to be recorded, and somehow or someway some tech-savy domme is going to get that out to people I know somehow.

And that is preventing me from endulging in any webcam sessions, which is really discouraging.

Any thoughts about that? There's really no way to know if you're being recorded, and as you get to know someone, they're inevitably going to learn things about you, your vanilla life contacts, ... THoughts?

What the hell are you planning on doing on cam that would wreck such havoc in your life, dude? Keep your trousers zipped and I dunno what the problem would be.
Don't say or do anything online that you wouldn't want broadcasted to everyone in your life until you actually know who you're talking to.
Personally, I am private in my personal life, but I'm not ashamed or worried that vanillas might find out I'm swirled with butterscotch. Fuck that shit.

Hmm....You could probably find an Asian, Indian, Mid-eastern woman right here in America....and then you could just meet them in real time and spend time getting to know them one-on-one, in a private (un-recorded) way; ie...dating etc. 

If you just plan on getting acquainted via webcam and talking about mundane things, then it wouldn't be a big deal, and she'd have nothing to expose really.  But if you're planning on getting sexual and personal in the cam "sessions", it's a whole other ball of wax.

Handing over your vulnerability on a silver platter to a stranger from another country is nothing short of stupid.  Maybe you should consider more traditional ways of getting off.

What do you plan on doing on cam? If you're fully clothed and not getting sexual right away either on cam or in print, I don't know what the problem would be. I know I don't do cam sex or cybersex in print either one, so there's nothing that could be used as blackmail anyway. Plus, like someone else said, there's plenty of the ethnic groups you're looking for right here at home. You wouldn't have to go overseas at all to find them.

It's a very old song. It's understandable that you feel that way. But, it's an illusion.

Then don't do it. I've been here off and on for around eight years and have never web cammed. Talking over the phone (I use a Trak phone until I feel I can trust them with my home phone). Try to meet up for coffee within the first two weeks, before you start online roleplaying with them. It would suck to feel very close to someone online, and uber submissive to them, and then meet up with a total stranger you feel no connection to. This is just my opinion.

To find munch groups in your area (TNG ones are for kinksters under 30), look them up at Fetlife. There is a search feature, just type in your state and munch and hit enter. I'm feeling too lazy or I would send you a list to your mailbox. [:D]

I have just formed a hypothesis that there is an inverse relationship to a domme's willingness to web cam right off the bat and her willingness to have a LTR with the camee.

Due to cultural differences, I wonder if your chances of finding women of these ethnicities who are also Dommes might actually be better in the US.

That being said, there were some Filipina Dommes from Manila in the intro forum not long ago...but they were pro-Dommes.
