Ok...I once before turned to this forum, and ended up with some valuable, and not so valuable info. ..So getting straight to the point....Always being with either a Dominant, or a better half...I was always one that could never get enough of the other's scent.
It was as if, once I would get the first smell, I would just want to get more and more.
Now, here's my befuddlement...It's been quite a few years now, since actually being within a relationship. Well...the past 3-4 months I have noticed enjoying my OWN scent when being allowed to self- release.

Just some feedback, and stories of this ever happening or not happening to anyone else. By all means, if S/someone has a slightly believable explanation, I'm all ears....\

Read somewhere that people tend to prefer partners who smell like daddy or mommy. Or in my case the family dog. Maybe you are literally turning into your parents, smell and all?

I love the smell of sex (and blood) in the air.

I get the intensity of olfactory associations and have rejected potential partners because "they didn't smell like my tribe".  Like you, my partner's scent is important and exciting to me.  I noticed my cum smells quite different if I masturbate alone than when I have sex with my partner.  I also understand the types of sperm you release changes.  If you smell other male pheromones while having sex, you release more blockers (killer sperm) than swimmers.  Your diet and emotional state effect your scent and the types of sperm content in your cum.  As your emotional state changes (and diet), it is a very real likely hood that you cum may actually smell different at different times.

Besides your personal attraction to the same old scent evolving, it is quite possible that your scent actually changed over time and you are more attracted to the new smell than your old smell.
