"International Space Station Commander Dan Burbank captured spectacular imagery of
Comet Lovejoy as seen from about 240 miles above the Earth’s horizon on Wednesday,
Dec. 21. Burbank described seeing the comet as “the most amazing thing I have ever seen in space,”
in an interview with WDIV-TV in Detroit. (2:06)

I have often wondered why there is no remote controled telescope mounted on the space station. Seems like a no brainer to me. Someone wants a picture of something, call NASA and write a check. Boom! It's done! I mean, if you are going to use the space station FOR something...

I am glad you enjoyed it. I did not know that NASA had
a whole gallery of short videos. It was fun to discover it.
