Status: offline 		I don't know it I can do this but I am posting my resume here because I really need help in finding a job. Any leads would be great. Also I am willing to relocate for work.

Status: offline 		Well, sorry I can't help with this one, sweet thing. Good luck tho. I'm trying to think what to suggest. Clearly you're already using normal job search strategies around your area? How about registering with job agencies that deal with your specialism; although I know many require some previous experience - its a bit Catch-22. Register with all local administration job sites to see what they have available. Try the old speculative letter technique to companies that may have an opening, although I think equal opps sort of killed that one off and now jobs have to be advertised. And keep abreast of all appropriate online and newspaper ads. I suppose you could also trawl profiles for people with an interest in IT and ask them; if that's ehtical. Although they may be more taken by your big eyes than your other qualifications- men are just so shallow!

Since none of your work experience is relevant, I would tailor your educational experience to whatever position you are applying for. For examples, use bullet statements created from the course description.

I assume you are already checking out Career Builder and craigslist? (No snide remarks about craigslist - that's how I got all of my jobs in FL.) Bigger companies may have more entry level positions and since they are bigger have the budget for paid listings such as on CareerBuilder.

My company is always hiring for IT positions but we always want someone with experience. Consider a non-IT job and working your way into the IT department once you are there.

Troubleshooting is correctly spelled as one word in your resume and later as two.

Could you add a section about the projects you did for class, and what skills you utilized for them?

Also, drop the "online" from your education, and account for 2003-2010.

Finally, did you have any specific accomplishments in your work?  Any awards?  Any suggestions to make things work better?

Status: offline 		Just a few suggestions. I look at resume's daily, and honestly I wouldn't consider yours. First I would add dates, not just years of employment. Once you have done that, you will need to explain any of the gaps. What were you doing, etc. Also, you might add why you left. Just looking at your resume, I would assume that you don't have steady job history, and that you don't stay long at the jobs you have. When I look at resumes, job history is the most important thing. If someone has had a different job every six months, I assume that the longest I can expect them to stay at my company is about six months. Also if someone has large gaps between employment, I assume they don't need to work, or that working is more of want not a need.
There are a lot of assumptions in the above paragraph, but that is what a potential employer would have to do based on the information provided. Hope that helped some.

To add to what others have said.. Depending on whom is doing the resume reading.. Most people are surprised to find out the job of HR is to try everything it can to NOT hire you. The IT dept is the one that wants to fill a job opening, but once it gets passed over to HR to actually get filled, HR will try everything it can to not fill the position. It's inverse logic. First off, when you have hundreds or thousands of prospects lined up, not only do you want to quickly trim it down to a handful of good candidates.. You ultimately want to try to eliminate them all. Then, if there is still one standing despite all your attempts to eliminate--you found your perfect fit.. someone you cannot eliminate, cannot operate effectively without. Second, they do not want to hire the first person who comes along and find out they hired a monster, they'll lose their own jobs if they do. Many hiring managers I've spoken to have said they'd rather send a memo back to the requesting department saying "Sorry, we couldn't find a suitable candidate for you" than to hire someone who comes in drunk the first day or steals from the company, etc. So if they find anything that makes them doubt you are anything short of the perfect employee, they'll file you in the trash bin.

Re-read your resume with these thoughts in mind. Would you risk your job and hire yourself? And be brutally honest with yourself here.. You may want to pull your punches with yourself.. But you're nobody to HR. Not even human, just a sheet of paper. And that paper shredder you affectionately gave a cute pet name sure does look hungry..

Status: offline 		Hey there, tough as hell at the moment, you would probably be better trying to set up your own enterprise. Your work experience is unattractive to potential employers, having said that, don't give up hope, even if it means getting started on a voluntary basis.

I used to help my manager look at resumes and I would always zero in on the job history with this in mind.
