"I’ve noticed over the years, there are some fundamental differences in the way Republican and Democratic politicians think. Here are just 15 examples.

Republicans fear that the government has too much control over corporations. Democrats fear that corporations have too much control over our government.

Democrats believe it benefits all of us to help the weakest and the poorest among us. Republicans believe it benefits all of us to help the wealthiest and most powerful among us.

Republicans believe large corporations will always do what is best for the American people if the government stays out of the way. Democrats believe large corporations would disembowel you and sell your organs to the highest bidder if the government didn’t stop them.

Democrats believe everyone is entitled to health care regardless of their ability to pay. Republicans believe everyone is entitled to jack squat if they can’t pay for health care.

Democrats believe too much of our money goes to crooked corporate executives who take government subsidies and pay themselves $80 million salaries. Republicans believe too much of our money goes to teachers who make $30,000 a year."

Pretty much republicans are the pro Jesus anti gay corporatists and democrats are the pro abortion bureaucratic corporatists.

This a good statement and does hit the target...but which way is right or wrong...they both have good and bad points.

I think many Republicans might say they believe the government should help them help themselves and welfare may not be the best way.

A repeat of number two...except many Republicans would say no one has the right to force anyone to buy insurance...and how the hell can we afford it as a government program?

Hey when it comes to making money or a profit, they are all...straw man arguments aren't they ? But as for the part on corporations I as many have said and for over 100 years, they consume and exercise power, do not serve society at all and are usually dependent on govt. Sort of a 'free market' socialism.

The corporation is run by and under the corruption of being a 'person' [sic] for political power . The corporation is in fact merely an abstraction and do not exist...except on paper but rely upon their power to influence govt., reduce their taxes in some cases to 0 and are otherwise...a negative for the economy but for a few thousand (reduced everyday) jobs.

The corporation is a bastardization of the free market and wants no part of [it] unless it suits their narrow interests.

What world do you live in ? The dems are our beloved blue collar corruption while trying to serve the masses. The repubs, now they are some real pros and are our blue chip corruptness, very successful at serving capital.

Then you aren't looking at reality.

Looking at voters who consider themselves part of the Tea Party movement:
74 percent are Republicans or independent voters leaning Republican;
16 percent are Democrats or independent voters leaning Democratic;
5 percent are solidly independent;
45 percent are men;
55 percent are women;
88 percent are white;
77 percent voted for Sen. John McCain in 2008;
15 percent voted for President Barack Obama.
