I think of it as poetic justice.  Obviously, the previous owner thought it would aggravate the hell out of the shop owner to have a black landlord.

Fortunately, I had already drank most of my coffee!

The Irony Meter, is at maximum. I don't look forward to the day Mr. Howard dies. On that day, the business is closed and the Church moves in to hold services instead. That is going to be a very, very hard day for the Itrony Meter.

The only thing I can think of that is close on the Irony meter is a building the next town over that used to be a liquor store. It's now a Pentecostal Church.

No more ironic than the Mormon church being heavily invested in Coca Cola stock (Caffeine) but they can't drink coffee.
