ORIGINAL: popeye1250 And those sneakers with the big "N" on them that are made in Maine or Massachusetts I think. Even if you have to pay more for those two footware items they last so long and are built so well and comfortable that it's really a great deal! really? I buy the ones with the big N (new balance) cuz they make them in wide and for working out and walking my shoes cant be too tight. In the last 2 years i have bought 4 pairs and 2 of them have had the soles separate from the rest of the shoe... you must wear yours only on Sunday or something.. [8|] Yeah, I wear them on Sundays and every other day of the week and do two miles in them on the treadmill at the gym. (New Balance!) Maybe you bought some Chinese counterfits? And I only have one pair. Never had a problem with them for decades now. you have owned one pair for decades? [sm=rofl.gif] I bought them at JC Penney.. so i sorta doubt they are chinese counterfiets.. but then any company that puts labels on their shoe boxes bragging about how they support American workers but have in actuallity exported 3 out of 4 of those jobs offshore (like bait & switch) is misrepresenting their products, their business practices and lacks integrity, imo.. They are just like their competition even tho they try to claim otherwise.. Its not the fact that their shoes are disposable that bugs me, its the attempt at deception that irks me the most..
