Still in LA, stopped smoking and managed to lose weight (yay for inline skates and swimming), my friend is improving in leaps and bounds, the not so nice thing is that I went to one of the fancy hairdressers here, who blissfully ignored my "just a trim" and hacked off about 30 inches of hair, now it's just brushing my shoulders... The next hairdresser will definitely be a gay male, whenever I went to a female hairdresser I end up with MUCH shorter hair than intended... Considering who you ask, I heard that I look like a cute little boy or lately like a Mexican gangster (I tend to tan easily)

Lance is looking forward to this Tuesday, the 24th. He clocks in as a Federal employee for 3 months. DAMN! Seems like either 3 days or 30 years. I'm not sure if my probation is 90 days or 6 months or what? Doesn't matter.... but the routine of a "real" job is very hard to get into. On the other hand, I'm enjoying my back-rent becoming less and less. Can hardly wait for the day when that's finished. Then I'll have actual, honest-to-gawd play money. LOL!

Meanwhile, a gay "friend with benefits" calls me up and explains one of his fuck buddies is getting thrown out of his Mother's house for being gay and could I put him up?

Lance has a frigging heart-o-gold. Turns out said friend of friend is 18 years old! YEP! Eighteen. After 2 weeks, the young man and I are still having a bit of trouble getting the dynamics figured out. Part of the reason he got thrown out was "no job." Finding a job might work out.... he is pretty good about applying and checking the net, etc. [I've been watching him on-line, actually.]

Today, he reported stopping at a Sheraton, asking for application since he was told "Yes, we are hiring, but use the on-line application." We'll get him on-line tomorrow (Saturday) and this old man will help him with resume and shit..... kinda hard if there's NOT a GED, and no job to date. Wants to get into cooking trade. Pretty good cook so far, but needs alot of training.

So, Lance has live-in boy, but DAMN! he could be my grandson..... Me = 61; him = 18. You do the math!

And FUCK! those teen-agers DO eat! And I mean eat food! Other kind of eating? Yep, pretty good at that, too. LOL!

AND! He's reading "Becoming a Slave" by Jack Rinella..... took him to a [all gay male BDSM] play party last week and since he had said "I'd like to try electic play, Sir," and since one of Colorado's leading electric play Tops was there, well..... the boy got quite a taste of violet wand.

Some of the folks at the play party said "You've got yourself a natural."

well Lance sounds like you have been having some "fun" and such.

I been busy with school and still working on that mental stuff so soon i will know and be back to what ever position i decide with my hubby that i belong in.

well my january went from fantastic to shit in 2+days.

I am now sitting in the labor and delivery of the hospital since thursday. after having my back kill me both wednesday and thursday nights. Come to find out it was my gallbladder and not false labor start practice alarms. so yea. Im waiting to go under the knife in about 2 hrs to get my gallbladder taken out.

I'll keep everyone posted after i get out of surgery.

Other than that school and everything is going good because i started this term with all A's.

well surgery went well. i went down to recovery and the surgery got under way at 3:51pm and i was out and back in my room and able to call hubby at 6:45 pm. The surgon came in and talked to me already this morning and said that i can go home, but have to go to her office sometime during the week. other than that all went well. Liproscopic and came out good. the 2 larger incisions hurt more than the smaller ones.

Bounce you still have a lot of work ahead of you. If your not careful you can still put the weight back on. I spent most of December at my Daughters. Love the grandaughter. Going back for 3 weeks in Feb. Hope to spend most of this year taking in a lot of the US. Lots of places I want to see.
