Oh, Lawdy, Lawdy, don't even get me started on horse stories. It's a bloody miracle I'm alive to this day. Due to my share of serious equine-induced injuries, I can no longer muck around with them much, but I still do love them so.

I always felt like the horse was letting me ride. I grew up with a horse that only allowed certain people on him and trust me it had nothing to do with ability to dominate.

I'm not a domme but I am horse crazy and always have been. I think the bond, love and
connection horse loving females have for
their horses is a mystical thing.
It's not about dominating the horse it's about
becoming one with the horse or being
in perfect tandem.
Horses aren't dumb though as with all
creatures some are smarter than others.
They have their on mindset. I think there
is always some part of a horse that is
always free, always untamed.
The physical sensation of riding a horse
is thrilling and can't be replicated.
I wouldn't call it sexual though it is
exhilarating. At it's best you and the horse
are in tune with one another, are one
another which I suppose does open itself
up to an analogy for lovers.
And there are a lot of physical aspects of
horses and riding that awaken the senses.
I love the way horses smell, I love brushing
one down after a ride, I love their sounds
and snorts and I love the physical sensation
of sitting on one.But it's the heart and mind
connection that is so beautiful.
Riding out in the early morning hours
when the world is quiet is my idea of
perfect bliss.
And a man who loves horses and rides well
is a kind of bliss to all other things being
equal or close to it.

I love horses, though I haven't ridden in years. Wonderful animals, horses, though they are not the rocket scientists of the animal kingdom by any stretch. Still, they have their own way of understanding the world, and when it comes to working successfully with animals it's about learning THEIR language.
Friends of mine keep horses and I live vicariously through them.

Sorta of like working with Dommes. We have to learn their language! [8D]
