Well, I think that's one of those things that's going to vary from person to person. When I think degradation (in a kinky sense), it brings to mind grovelling and objectification and generally a more physical aspect of "humbling" the sub, while humiliation to me is more about name-calling and dirty talk and begging and the like. But other people are going to have totally different opinions.
