I have had the pleasure of reading some very well written profiles here, and while they all caught my attention
for a variety of reasons, the one thing that seemed constant was they appeared to be the man next door.
I don't find it appealing to see men dress up their profiles with a certain stance, simply because they are dominant.
Be human, be comfortably confident, and most importantly, be fully dressed. Meaning, don't type with your kink.

Also, if you are hoping to find a lifetime partner here, it is important that you present yourself as you truly are.
If you are going to take any of our suggestions, try to keep it genuine. Best of luck!

Hello, Devin.  Welcome to collarme.

I'm not a sub or a lady, but I took a look at your profile.  You sounds like a good guy, but the profile is kinda lifeless and a lot of it says "We could do this, or we could do that."  The writing is indirect enough that it makes you sound weak IMO.

For example, "I am respectful and very understanding. Anyone I choose to share myself with must be similar in this regard. I dont mind showing you guidance however, you should already be trying to do your best and you should be a good girl and sweet as well."

I'd say something like "I give respect and expect it in return.  I expect to provide some guidance, but you need to want to please."

"Also, I would consider having  my significant other/assistant/ move into my place.... if we agreed to do so....  And.... I would also consider moving into a new place with her."

Basically, this says you're open and flexible.  I like directness in a profile, and yours is indirect.

Nice decent (non-nude pictures)
No cock shots.
Lots of info about your vanilla side.
A little info about what you're looking for; your wishes, hopes and limits.
Basically the same info you'd give someone you're interested in on a first date.
What drew you to this lifestyle, what you have to offer, and the way you picture your (realistic) life to be once you've found the right person.
I happen to like to see intelligence and humour, personally.
Oh, and don't do one of those "scary dom" pics with the unapproachable glare. I prefer a smile and sincerity, personally.

K, here's my critique:
1) lose the poser friends. Immediate turn off. Having fake chicks listed as your friends is always a twatswat (that's the female version of cockblock)
2) Profile pic is good.
3) The content is pretty good, I like your honesty. The private convo part is weird. Not necessary, I think.
4) Lose the reference to cum. It's TMI. That whole paragraph would turn me off
5) Add some stuff about your vanilla life. Hobbies? What do you do for fun?

All that being said, read the boards, get to know the people (this side is quite different than the profile side, here is where we have conversation and stuff), remember, this is a community more than a pick up bar, on both sides...so don't assume that everyone is looking for ass (not saying you are/do, just sayin).

Agreed.  The paragraph starting about you being a self-employed carpenter is exactly the kind of thing that really says who you are.
