LadyPact -> RE: Welcome to Collar Me (1/28/2012 12:34:11 PM)

I'm not attempting to defy the Mods here. I'm just going on the idea that "take a breath" or any other expressions that have been used here does not mean 'don't discuss'. I'm taking it more to mean chill the tempers out. Which, of course, I'm more than willing to do. quote:
ORIGINAL: xssve http://www.collarchat.com/m_4011293/mpage_16/tm.htm So what do you think? Anybody even give a shit about this? Frankly, no. It doesn't have anything to do with the matter of the original. I've said numerous times that this thread was regarding the Introduction section and the premise that should be the area where people are granted a little more slack when first starting on the forums. The other discussion areas are separate entities, as far as I'm concerned. quote:
ORIGINAL: xssve Five replies, and still no answer to the question. Would be too charitable to call it a gang, more like a circle jerk. Anyway, to clarify, my question is whether anybody starting a thread, asking for advice would prefer this sort of thing going on in there? This thread is already fucked, I see no reason to spread it around, keep it coming. Well, I've done that now, so perhaps that part is settled. I do find it odd, and maybe a little bit hypocritical that the reason you brought your complaint here to this thread was because the other thread went off topic and no longer discussed the matter that you wanted to discuss. As I said before, I started this thread about the Introduction section. It wasn't intended to become a bitchfest for any and every problem that people have at this time regarding the forums. While I appreciate the sentiment, deciding that this thread is fucked doesn't make you any different than anybody else that you are blaming for taking other threads off topic. quote:
ORIGINAL: xssve Yeah, you forced me to read it, and basically, you all decided the guy was a "fake", and camped out to groom each other, and struggle to come up with more creative snark, an exercise in futility if you ask me, but pretty much what I expected, anything but discuss the topic of the thread, which was a valid one whether the guy is "real" or not - what's your point? Do you mean like you're doing now? I haven't seen any of your responses have anything to do with the Introduction section, how people could be more receptive in that area, or ways to make that a more welcoming forum. I've said this before to other participants on this thread. This subject has nothing to do with any established poster and what they might have done for people on these forums to have the opinion of them that they do. I'd rather appreciate people not using this thread as their platform to complain about how they showed their ass (figuratively) in another section and attempt to hang on the coattails here because it really is a different subject. Anybody wanting to throw their own personal hissy fit can start their own thread. I'd rather not have the confusion.
