Okay I have an idea where a girl is forced to serve this guy and they have a very dark relationship if she doesn't do as he says or offends him he takes it out on the people she loves or he makes her inflict pain on herself. Any way the part I have trouble with is that durring her forced servitude she starts to fall in love with him because she learns how truly horrible his past is and that his main problem is loneliness. The problem I have is could that even be made believable with out it coming off as some weird stockholme syndrome deal?

I have a book similar to that, except it has a twist ending. Later, after HM is awake I'll let you know the name of it.
It's also a bit like Phantom of the Opera, isn't it? (in a way)

Whats wrong with Stockholm syndrome?
Very partial to it myself in my stories.

Just cause its a dark romance, doesn't make it less romantic... just a bit more fucked up.
