Obligatory controversial thread title aside, I'm not talking about a person whose religion is Christianity but rather the type of Christian who wears his religion on his sleeve...constantly invoking God/Jesus in speeches, calling the US a "Christian nation" with "Christian values" etc. The reason I find this so curious is because there is such a backlash against fundamentalist Muslim nations. I know that these types of politicians often share views on political issues, so to make it easier imagine that every person listed in my poll had the exact same political platform, same vote history, everything identical except for their religion and whether they brought up their religion in their speeches. So if everything else were equal, who would you vote for? "Devout" meaning that this person brings up their religion in their speeches, "Secular" meaning they are a person of this faith but don't bring up their religion at all in public. Multiple selection allowed if you would vote for some but not others (for example if you would vote for all secular candidates but no devout candidates, or either Christian candidate but no Muslim or atheist), but if you would vote for any of them with no bias, please choose the final option only. Feel free to discuss.
