Funny I like those for religious themed scenes... I make a damn sexy nun. Actually tho, I like tubular bells (from the exorcist) more for interrogations... angry conversations clipped from movies in russian or german... even a wicked series of quotes from disturbing movies i put together &v edited over a heavy industrial track with clanging metal sounds.
Best though for heavy interrogation.. waterboarding, heavy electrical, knife play... pavarotti... every time... turning up the dial as his voice hits a crescendo.. eyes rolling back, ecstatically smiling as the current increases. Drawing back the blade and preparing for a long slow shallow slice... collarbone.. sternum... ribcage.. down the femur..the tibia...ahhhh. Tilting the table to 45 degrees... smirking as i place the rag over the prisoner's face and lift the bucket.. pouring slowly as he sings an aria from Il Trovatore... epic headspace.
My general scene music though, goes from classic big band burlesque to sinatra, arlo guthrie, van morrison, hanoi rocks, newlydeads, kmfdm, mary tyler whores, my life with the thrill kill kult, harry connick jr.... really wide range. And I do ina-gadda-da-vida too! LOL
