Status: offline 		Colbert Super PAC Releases Romney Attack Ad In South Carolina (VIDEO)
A fake run for president is nothing without fake attack ads, and "Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC" is wasting no time in getting its hysterical message out to South Carolinians.

In a press release announcing the ad, Jon Stewart spoke about his new role as head of the Super PAC:

Hi again, it’s me, Jon. When I took over this Super PAC, I had no idea there’d be so much email-writing. Also, there are a lot of plants around Super PAC office with extremely specific watering schedules. Seriously, does a Northwood Spotted Fern really need to be watered "thrice fortnightly at dusk"?
Anyway, The Definitely Not Coordinated With Stephen Colbert Super PAC made an ad, and I figured you’d want to know. I’ve attached the press release below, so hopefully your mouse’s scroll-wheel isn’t broken.
The spot takes Romney's claim that corporations are people, along with his history of buying companies and breaking them apart, to its comedically logical conclusion: Mitt Romney is a serial killer.

Watch the John Lithgow-voiced ad above and let us know what you think of Colbert and Stewart's latest political stunt, and whether or not you think the spot will sway voters in South Carolina to vote for "Not Mitt Romney."

Status: offline 		Seriously funny shit! I can't wait to see what they do with the rest of the bunch! There have been some absolute gems so far and more are sure to follow.

Do I think comedy of that style is enough to sway voters?

If it is, they deserve who they elect which, actually, could be a good thing or a bad thing!

Status: offline 		I think its funny irreverent and , appeals to my sense of humour from start to finish
Swaying voters. I think people who watch him, are already happy with their choices. But then again, that is being purely speculative.
As much of an outsider as I am, I would hope that people see it for what it is.
But never underestimate the power of stupidity,
I would no more vote for colbert of stewart or the "canada party" than I would vote for larry the cable guy.
The power to make social commentary, jokes, innuendo, is not enough to run a country with. But it does make good comedy
Of course I would vote for colbert, stewart in a perfect threesome contest
grins
Throw in jeff foxworthy, larry the cable guy and I could die happy never giving a damn about politics again:)

Stephen Colbert Calls On Internet To Vote Herman Cain In South Carolina Primary

Colbert was outraged by this affront on democracy, as he believes that it's a citizen's right to write in any candidate they want, no matter how ridiculous: "Sleepy. Dopey. Perry."

The solution? Well, regular views of the "Report" know that the Colbert Super PAC officially endorsed Herman Cain for president on October 18, and despite Stephen's presidential ambitions, the Super PAC is sticking to its guns and continuing support for Cain.

"Because Cain and I are so similar, I think that if this Saturday Herman Cain were to get a significant number of vote, that would be a sign that voters are hungry for a Stephen Colbert campaign."

Colbert also pointed out that since South Carolina has an open primary, voters are not restricted to registered Republicans. "Anyone who shares my values can show it by voting for Herman Cain," Colbert informed his viewers, encouraging his legion of young (and likely liberal) fans in South Carolina to show up at the polls.

"Independents, Democrats, college kids, viewers of my show, people who attended rally, my Twitter followers, my good friends on Reddit: People of the Internet, stand up and shout! Because you are legally eligible to go down to the polls and tell the world how much you love Herman Cain."

The two of them are making this an almost enjoyable election season on their own.
