ORIGINAL: MasterSlaveLA Not surprised. I never cared for the guy... not because, as the article states, for his working with O'Failure, but because he's too much of a "politician" -- i.e., talking a lot, but saying nothing. I just finished watching the Huckabee Forum in South Carolina, and he did it yet again... when asked direct questions, he kept dancing around them with platitudes. Example, first question asked of him... "In the first 30 days, as President of the United States, what could you do to have any positive impact on America". His response? "The answer is very simple... and that is, i would lead. Today we have no leadership, we have no one that is doing what needs to be done on Captol Hill and driving forward the work of the people." He then blathered on a bit and FINALLY got to 3 things he'd focus on: (i) Tax Reform, (ii) Addressing Regulations, and (iii) Steps to Energy Independence, but by then I was already rolling my eyes. His entire opening response said NOTHING, and the end of his response is HARDLY anything that could be addressed in "30 days". In short, just too much of the typical politician, and the reason why I never trusted the guy. Given the crappy state of things, I think most Americans are looking for more swift and specific actions that will hopefully have both a major and more immediate impact on the economy. Lol LA, politicians are politicians, not leaders.
