We knew they were great at burying their heads and willful ignorance and we knew they browbeat/bashed anyone who disagrees,but I never thought of the deniers as violent.

The same could be said for anyone who buries their head in any biased media source to the exclusion of others.

Status: offline 		I hate to see people spinning and twisting things for political propaganda reasons. This is the main cause why some become violent. There are no climate change deniers. The science in this regard is very clear: the climate changes all the time. Also, most agree, human activity changes climate. The question is how much? Nobody knows for sure. The other question is where the carbon taxes go? Again, nobody knows for sure.

The threat and use of violence toward a scientist who did nothing more than say he was a republican..........is.


Justifying violence over perceived twisting of facts is just as vile as the emails themselves.ANYBODY could justify ANYTHING using that logic.

And one should familiarize one`s self about complicated subjects as an alternative to backing the lunatic fringe`s POV on them.

A topic title that screams violence, despite the fact that nobody was assaulted and no vandalism was committed; a story about a guy getting some ugly wingnut emails -- a "frenzy" of four or five a day at peak -- following upon the posting of a video that was viewed by who knows how many thousands; and when people object to such blatantly provocative hyperbole they are despicably and dishonestly accused of justifying the ugliness.

Terrorism isn`t necessarily about the deaths but the fear of them.


It`s funny,no one has said it`s republicans who sent the threats.I`ve only referred to them as deniers.......


Yet it`s the board`s cons who are defending/deflecting them.
