Mind boggling the power of psychology and fear that creates so one accepts such horrific circumstance. Equally mind boggling that a wife would co-conspire with a psychopath to inflict such tortures and abuse at every level. The victim is lucky to be alive, but likely he shall never have a quality of life considering the physical, emotional and psychological trauma he has experienced.

Humans... we have so much good, positive, love and compassion in us... but sometimes we can be downright fucked-up, hateful and evil. Sad, so very sad!

That is Sick and messed up. But humans have a remarkable ability to heal, and to even eventually, thrive. There were so many victims of Hitler's evil regime, and many of them went on to live loving, joyful lives. It sounds like he is loved, and that may help.

That's a disgusting tale. The only bright side to it is that he made it out alive.

The power of love is truly amazing and i believe that will be his savior. Kudos to her, also her immense compassion and obvious patience.

Yes, true as You say, we humans are with remarkable ability to heal and thrive. Thank goodness!

It's not the worst such case, and in some other such cases, the victims have recovered.

That should afford some hope to the effect that this victim may recover, as well.

Quite unfortunate that people do this sort of thing, but hardly unexpected.

Health,
al-Aswad.
