Status: offline 		This is really embarrasing and I feel so stupid but last night I had a drunken one night stand. He was spanking me and for some reason couldn't seem to keep it to my ass. I woke up with a bruise on the side of my upper leg bigger than my hand. Its deep purple with red dots going through it, one very large patch and streaks of purple and red coming out from it.

I'm getting a bit worried now because it is very bad and I can feel my leg stiffening up. I have my foot rested on 2 pillows and i found ibulgel which is more for sprains etc but quite strong. Any advise or even just convince me it'll be ok :( Anybody who would know a bit about stuff like this i could show on webcam, i feel silly and kind of want someone to put my mind at ease.

Status: offline 		I've had bruises that bad from sports and they healed just fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Good sex always ends in a few injuries

If you start to have pain deep in the muscle or any other cause for alarm you might drop by your local emergency medical center (not ER mind you) but I wouldn't worry too much at all.

Status: offline 		Thank you!! My friend had me freaking out about blood clots and everything, i think i'm a bit of a hypochondriac! Unfortunately I work in a bar so can't see the next week or so being enjoyable, my own fault though! Thanks!

Arnica gel is also good.

Status: offline 		Just take it easy when you're not at work and put an ice pack on it. You'll probably be limping around in pain for the next week, but I doubt it's anything dangerous. I know I've gotten kicked in the upper thigh in martial arts class, and it hurts like a mother and leaves a big bruise but it wasn't anything serious. I think the stiffness comes from the swelling pressing on the muscles or tendons (at least that's what it felt like to me).

Don't massage it. Bruises need to rest and heal. Cool compresses work because bruised areas are hot. Don't lay on it or touch it.
