Over Memorial Day Weekend... I finally got to meet one I met one CM back in early Dec. After months of talking and weeks of trying to meet. Only have me have to cancel for one reason or another.

We had talked so much it seemed sometimes we already met and things were going great. Well now we finally got to meet and things are great!!

The reason behind this posting is I would like to have others know what a great man this gentleman is. And i'm not talking sexually... romantic.. or even dominant. I'm talking human.

A few hours after Mike arrived and we were sitting around talking... joking around I get a phone call from my father, informing me that my mother was hospitalized. Her blood pressure was 92/54. Dizzy, blurring eyes, no balance. No one knew what the hell was going on. Being a insulin dependant diabetic, no chances were being taken.

Anyways.....when the call came in. Mike sat there and listened. I have to admit, I sort of lost it. Frantic to get more information. My father told me not to come to hospital Sunday night because we wouldn't be able to see her. So I had to sit and wait. Well, Mike sat  right there with me. He held me. Comforted me. Helped me stay strong for my girls who too were upset over their grandmother's condition.

We got the word that mom was fine but being kept for observation. Mike still stayed to make sure all was well with me as well. I admire a person that doesn't feel he needs to up and leave thinking that it always makes things better. Granted he could of. Thinking I didn't need him around during this time of personal crisis. Luckily I didn't need to tell him I did need him. He knew I needed him without the words being spoken.

I do think this comes from months of talking, getting to know each other. But being there for the first time...face to face... and everything being like it's been that way forever all ready.... smiles... no matter what may or may not happen. This weekend....and Mike... will forever be in my memories...and my heart.

Thank you CM....for being here....and helping me to find such a man as Mike.

That's a story that just warms the heart.  Happy to hear your mother is better and that you have found, at the very least, a wonderful friend.  Be well...
