Alright next food item

Pretty easy, grown in tropical areas with yellow flesh, the skin is inedible, damn sweet though.

Okay next food item.

This drink is traditonally created from a very popular grain, so much so that it can be classified as a food. It's perfect for cooling off when eating something spicy.

Alright, will give out a hint or two.

1. It is legal for children to drink it, hell I loved the stuff when I was little.
2. It is white.
3. The grain is one that we typically eat by itself.

A very popular grain...  I guess that lets out margaritas since the agave isn't a grain.  Pity.  I like those with spicy foods. [:D]
 
White and by itself... that would probably be rice.  But I don't know of any drink made out of rice..  Other than sake, which isn't legal for the kiddies.
