ORIGINAL: defiantbadgirl The globalist idea of making all countries equal isn't working. In order for for it to work, all prices in less developed countries would have to go up along with rising wages and all prices in more developed countries would have to decrease with declining wages. I don't know what's going on in other more developed countries, but in the United States, rent, utilities, and food prices don't seem to be decreasing. This unwillingness to bring prices down (greed) and the suffering that results from it is the reason I'm against globalization. I think President Obama has some great ideas on how to get jobs back, but can he do it without congress? If not, the idea is likely doomed from the start because of lobbyists and bribes for campaign dollars (companies wanting to continue record profits from slave labor offer campaign donations in exchange for voting against insourcing bills). Really? Anybody would think that this system wasn't set up with our best interests at heart. Surely not...
