BoundRose -> Superbly delicious jams, including chocolate jams and Splenda jams (6/1/2006 8:14:31 AM)

Every summer, I hand-make jam here at our very small farm. I'm gearing up for this summer's work. I make several flavors of jam, sweetened with either cane sugar or Splenda; since we are both diabetic, the Splenda versions are the ones we use at home, and they're as delicious as the sugar versions, and made similarly. If you've ever tried to find interesting jams that weren't made with sugar, you know how difficult it is to find something truly unique. Please try my jams for a real treat. Jams are canned in 8 oz. Mason jars. They are $6 per jar, plus shipping at my cost (including the cost of the shipping box). I will ship internationally as well as all over the U.S. I am the only person I know who makes true chocolate jams and I developed the technique myself. They're made similarly to the fruit flavor jams, but are balanced between chocolate and fruit flavors, with the emphasis on chocolate. I use premium ingredients, including exclusively Scharffenberger unsweetened chocolate; it's 99% cacao mass and 1% vanilla bean, and that's all. I get my fruit at the farmer's market and hand-select and prepare every piece of fruit that goes into my jams myself. My Beloved and I pick the blackberries, salal berries, and Concord grapes on our own land; they're organically grown, though not certified. No sprays or gardening chemicals of any kind have been used on our land since I bought it in 2000. These artisan jams are truly hand-made; no machinery is used at all. They're made in small batches in my kitchen and made with my family and yours in mind. Flavors I plan for this year: * Apricot-ginger marmalade (described by 2003's Seattle Ms. Leather as "an orgasm in a jar") * Apricot-vanilla (try this on ice cream or atop a cream cheese omelet for Sunday brunch) * Apricot-cinnamon (this is also great as an ice cream topping) * Peach-cinnamon or nectarine-cinnamon (depends on this year's fruit quality) * Blackberry-chocolate * Raspberry-chocolate * Blueberry-lime * Grape-chocolate (if my grapevine produces this year) * Holiday Cheer: Mulled grape-orange (if my grapevine produces this year) * Salal-rosemary (use atop a salmon fillet or a pork roast - 4 oz. jars in very limited quantities; sugar only) Please reply if you are interested in any of these, including which pique your interest and how many jars you'd like, and I'll reply back with more information. Thank you, and bon appetit! - beauty of Charles
